I began GuiRanch™ to feed my passion for creativity. I’ve been a professional graphic designer for 19 years, involved in all facets of multimedia design. During my four year tenure at GuiFX™ as senior multimedia specialist, I’ve been known to push the envelope quite a bit. I’ve developed hundreds of touch panel pages and template systems for the GuiFX™ product catalog, Crestron System Builder™, and private, worldwide clients.

On Web site development

I also believe that Web site development should be fun and creative for both the developer and the client. I do Web design as a creative outlet and for fun to test new technologies out there and see what’s possible. I have a great relationship with my clients and always meet or exceed their expectations. I use an abbreviated and short contract for each job because I hate red tape and would rather spend my time delivering than debating contract language. It should be simple really: You tell me what you like, I develop your site, and you walk away happy. That being said, I’m up-front with all of my clients about meeting production timelines and providing their materials in a timely fashion. If I feel that a client is taking advantage of my time or making unrealistic demands, I’ll be the first person to refund the deposit, revoke my code, and refer them elsewhere. I’m about the creativity, not the money.
